• Review conceptual site and building designs.

• Review and coordination of Fire and Life Safety requirements through Schematic Design and Design Development phases; pre-design planning and coordination with Architect and Fire Official.

• Develop Fire Protection System basis-of-design criteria and performance specifications.

• Fire Protection Engineering services including fire hazard identification and commodity classification, egress design and emergency evacuation analysis.

• Fire/smoke modeling of atria and lobby areas for mitigation of smoke control and prescriptive code requirements for exiting.

• Code Analysis, Interpretation and Application including evaluation of all Fire and Life Safety system and equipment designs, development and submittal of requests for variances, appeals and rulings as required from Building and Fire Officials.

• Contract Administration services for duration of construction phase including periodic field inspection of work-in-place, ongoing Fire, Building and Life Safety Code analysis, observation and documentation of acceptance testing, quality assurance inspection and punch list.
